WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE

Like so many of my friends, I started drag racing in the 1950s in Georgia.
Drag racing was just getting popular when I decided to try racing mainly
because I was selling cars for an Atlanta Ford Dealer and thought it would
be fun while at the same time meet more prospective car buyers. 

I was fortunate enough to have been picked as one of the original Ford Motor Company Drag Team
drivers in August 1962 and received one of the 10 lightweight Ford Galaxies produced that year.
